Citizens' Police Academy
The Marshfield Police Department has revamped its citizens' police academy program. We will be holding classes on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for six (6) consecutive weeks, starting April 8, 2014. Click here for more details.
Marshfield Housing Survey
The City of Marshfield is working to grow its economy. Diverse housing options are important to the health of the local economy. This survey is part of a City study to identify gaps in the housing market. It is intended for anyone that lives or works in the City. Your responses will help us evaluate and improve the supply of housing in Marshfield.

New Taxi Service
The City of Marshfield Shared Ride Taxi System was transferred to Marshfield Public Transit on January 1, 2014. The new number for the service is 715-384-6550. Their office is located at 551 S. Central Ave.
Marshfield Public Transit will honor taxi coupons until February 28, 2014. On March 1st, customers can call Marshfield Public Transit and they will be issued a punch card for their remaining credits.
All valid Senior Citizens, Disabled, and Temporary Disabled cards will continue to be honored.
Adopted Sign Code
The Common Council adopted the new sign code on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. The new code will be effective January 1, 2014. Most permanent signs will generally be grandfathered in, however, Electronic Message Center Signs and temporary signs will need to be in compliance by that date. Staff will be mailing out information regarding the regulations for those types of signs in the next few weeks. Click here to view the sign code.
