Chapter 18. General Zoning Ordinance
Sec. 18-26. (SR-2) Single Family Residential - 2 Zoning District
(1) Intent. This district is intended to preserve and enhance existing areas of very low density single family detached dwellings at an approximate density of 2 dwelling units per acre. Unlike the case for the (RH-35) Rural Holding District, the land use standards for this district permit primarily single-family detached residential development and a variety of related institutional land uses, and are not oriented to a wide range of agricultural activities. (2) Principal Uses Permitted by Right. Refer to Article III for detailed definitions and requirements for each of the following land uses. (a) Single Family (b) Community Garden (c) Small Scale Indoor Institutional (d) Outdoor Open Space Institutional (e) Passive Outdoor Recreation (f) Active Outdoor Recreation (g) Essential Services (h) Small Scale Public Services and Utilities (i) Community Living Arrangement (1-8 residents) meeting the requirements of Section 18-57(11) (j) Communication Antenna
