Chapter 2. General Government

Sec. 2-37. City clerk.

(1) Election and term. The term of the city clerk shall commence on May 1 of the year elected.

(2) Powers and duties. The clerk shall perform such duties as prescribed by statute and this Code. See chapter 3 of this Code.
