Historic Districts of Marshfield

Introduction

Currently there are no Historic Districts listed in the Marshfield Municipal Register.  However, four (4) residential districts and one (1) commercial district are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

A historic district means an area composed of two or more improvement parcels that together comprise a district of special character, or special historic interest or value, as part of the development, heritage or cultural characteristics of the city, state or nation, and which as been designated as a historic district pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code.
