                 Part-Time: 0.5 FTE (Average 20 Hours per Week)

Title of Immediate Supervisor:  Accounting Manager

Description of Duties:  The Finance Accounting Clerk  position duties include performing cash collection services, preparing records/reports related to cash collections.  This position will also input fixed asset records into the City’s financial software and perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned.

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalency required.  Completion of one year post-high school technical coursework in bookkeeping, accounting, and Microsoft Office software. 

Experience: One year experience as an accounts receivable clerk including knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices, office procedures, and Microsoft Office software. 

Skills: . Ability to effectively use office equipment such as calculator, computer, telephone, and multi-function machine. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.  Ability to perform in an active work environment and handle multiple tasks in an organized and effective manner.  

Salary:  $17.09 (minimum) - $18.48 (market rate) per hour.   Possible future financial advancement depending upon funding ability by the City.  This position is non-exempt.

Benefits:  As a part-time position, this position is eligible for limited benefits which include pro-rated vacation, sick leave, emergency leave, and paid holidays.
