Dog and Cat Licenses
Pursuant to Chapter 174, Wisconsin Statutes and City Ordinance 9-51, every owner of a dog or cat more than 5 months of age on January 1, or 5 months of age within the license year, shall annually, or within 6 months of age, obtain a license.Licenses of dogs and cats kept in the City of Marshfield can be obtained at the Finance Department Cashier Office, 5th floor City Hall.
Note: OWNERS OR KEEPERS OF DOGS AND CATS WILL BE ASSESSED A LATE FEE OF $5.00 IF THEY FAIL TO OBTAIN A LICENSE BEFORE APRIL 1ST OF EACH YEAR.
Owners are required to present a certificate of proof of rabies
shots from a veterinarian to obtain an animal license.
