Citizens Fire Academy
OVERVIEW: The Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department Citizen’s Fire Academy is a learning program for people who reside or work in the Marshfield Area and who want to know more about their fire department. It is our desire to increase awareness about the Fire Department with our local residents, so that these residents will become well-informed citizens who can become more involved with the long- term safety of our community. We will demonstrate the day to day operations of the Fire Department. We are committed to the community we serve and we are determined to be at the forefront of fire and injury prevention and rescue.
WHEN: The Academy is offered in the summer and meets on Thursday evenings for five weeks. Current Planning is underway for the 2015 Citizen Fire Academy. Please Check back at a later date for more information on the exact dates.
WHERE: The Academy meets at the Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department & the Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department Training Center.
REQUIREMENTS: Participants must be at least 18 years old & live or work in the Marshfield Area.

Planning for the 2015 Citizen Fire Academy is currently underway. The Application Period for the 2015 class will open April 1, 2015.
