Two Ways to Pay Real Estate Taxes
1st Option Pay in full on or before January 31, 2013. Pursuant to Chapter 74, Wisconsin Statutes The two-payment plan cannot be used if the tax bill is $99.99 or less. |
| 2nd Option Two Payment Plan First Payment All regular assessments and one-half of taxes due by January 31, 2013 payable to: City of Marshfield Second Payment Remaining 50% of regular taxes due by July 31, 2013 payable to: Wood County Treasurer or Marathon County Treasurer as applicable. |

Notice
All Personal Property taxes Must Be Paid on or before the last day of January. If not paid by the last day of January, the tax is declared delinquent and interest is charged at the rate of 1% per month starting with the preceding February 1st.
State Law WILL NOT permit the Two-Payment Plan after January 31st. If you choose the two-payment plan; the first payment must be made by January 31, 2013, and the second payment must be made to the applicable County Treasurer between February 1st and July 31, 2013 to avoid penalty.
