ICLEI
Local Governments for Sustainability is an international association of local governments as well as national and regional local government organizations that have made a commitment to sustainable development. Marshfield joined ICLEI in 2007 and uses this organization as a resource to guide our journey towards sustainability.

In January of 2009 the City of Marshfield was awarded a grant from the State Office of Energy Independence to create a plan to meet the Governor's 25x25 initiative. To learn more click on the link above. Also, be sure to read the Common Council's resolution to become energy independent community.
