Marshfield Outdoor Aquatic Center Campaign Committee is seeking 100 families to make a donation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, NOVEMBER 6, 2019 -  Be a part of the first 100 families to make a donation to the Marshfield 110519_Aquatic_Center_ThermometerOutdoor Aquatic Center(MOAC). We are asking a minimum of 100 families to pledge $1000.00 over 3 years ($333.33/year). Currently, 43 families have made a pledge of $1000.00 or more. The first 100 families will have the opportunity to be recognized on the Family Gathering Shelter and be the last group to jump into Hefko Pool for a summer party in 2020. As of November 6, we have secured approximately $750,000 in pledge donations.

There are several naming opportunities available, such as the bath house, concession stand, lazy river, family recreational pool, play structure, waterslide, including the naming rights to MOAC.

The total cost of the new facility is $6,000,000. The City of Marshfield's Common Council recognizes the importance of an outdoor aquatics center and made a commitment of $3,000,000 as a community challenge grant; they will match all gifts, dollar for dollar, up to $3,000,000.
