Visit the New Foxes
Shadow and Blizzard are out and about in the former bear exhibit. They are lots of fun to watch so be sure to visit them soon. Shadow the gray fox arrived at the zoo in May 2012. Blizzard, an Actic fox, joined Shadow in late July. The foxes will be in the former bear exhibit until spring 2013 when they will move into a new exhibit of their very own that has been built with help from the Kiwanis Club. The new exhibit is next to the rabbit enclosure.
Baby Bison
Wildwood Zoo happily welcomed three baby bison in 2012. The third and final bison cow in the Wildwood Zoo herd gave birth to her calf on Friday, July 13th - almost exactly two months after the original two were born May 18th. This is the first time since 2009 that Mavis, Maude, and Molly have all had calves in a single year. The herd is now up to eight bison.
