Volunteer at Wildwood Zoo

Do you love animals and the outdoors?  Would you enjoy speaking with zoo visitors?  If so, we have a few volunteer openings at Wildwood Zoo.  During the summertime, the Master Gardeners could use some help maintaining all of the beautiful flowers and plants that landscape the zoo. You could also work with our Zoo Education Coordinator at special education events as well as with our Ed-ZOO-cational talks throughout the summer.

Click here for a list of volunteer opportunities.

Although it is not possible for volunteers to work directly with the animals, there are a few things you can still do for them.  We are constantly looking for new ideas to enrich the zoo animals' lives.  If you have any ideas of behavioral enrichment activities for our animals and/or would like to work on some, please let us know. Even donating items for enrichment is a big help!

We also have volunteer opportunities at special events throughout the year. Please check our events page for upcoming events.
