Wildwood Zoo would like to build an entirely new bear exhibit that would house two  grizzly bears. The new exhibit would be a lot more natural in apperance with grass, trees, and a stream for the bears to play in.

The Board of Public Works and Common Council have approved contracting with Hammel, Green, and Abrahamson, Inc. of Milwaukee to perform the design consultant services for the exhibit. The budget for this project is still being discussed, with estimates between $800,000 and $900,000.  Most of this money will need to be raised through private donations and grants.
