Spring Education at Wildwood Zoo

Each year Wildwood Zoological Society sponsors a spring education week for area school children. We bring in a presenter to put on educational programs at Wildwood Station. Presentations are 45 minutes and offered five times a day for one to two weeks. This year's spring education week will be held April 29th - May 3rd. Dino Tlachac from Nature's Niche brings an awesome collection of rescued wildlife to delight, entertain, and educate kids and adults alike. If your school or home school group would like to attend one of these programs please call Darlene Schubert, Zoo Educator, at 715-486-2059 for more information.

This program is free to schools. To help with program costs, the Zoological Society has a zoo store available where kids can buy a souvenir of their day. We also accept Coins for Critters donations. The class bringing in the most Coins for Critters will receive a Bio fact Experience for their classroom. Our zoo educator will come to your classroom with our collection of animal artifacts. It's a hands-on educational program looking at the cool adaptations that the animals at Wildwood Zoo have to survive in the wild.
If you know of an area business that would like to sponsor this year's education week, please let us know.
