Crossing Guard

Description of Duties: The Marshfield School Crossing Guard program was established to provide enhanced pedestrian/bicycle safety to school age children on their way to and from school.
The program is administered by the Marshfield Police Department. The School Crossing Guards are furnished their uniforms. Crossing guards work at regularly scheduled crossing times, i.e., approximately 7:15 - 8:00 a.m.; 10:35 a.m. - 11:55 a.m.; and 2:45 - 3:05 p.m. Guards are compensated on the basis of one hour of pay for each crossing session, amounting to three hours per school day.
Qualifications: Ability to read and write and follow instructions; ability to interact on a friendly basis with school age children; willingness to work in all types of weather conditions.
Salary: $9.48/hour.
