Department:          Public Works - Street Division

Summary:   Under the general direction and supervision of an Assistant Street Superintendent, the Classification I-Laborer performs various duties related to street & sewer construction & maintenance (including concrete work), snow and ice control and removal, forestry operations, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Valid Wisconsin commercial drivers license, class "A" with tanker endorsement required.

Compensation:  $16.37/hour starting wage.  The City of Marshfield offers an excellent fringe benefits package.

Hours of Work: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (June 1 through Labor Day 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday)

Residency:   As a condition of continued employment, employee must be a resident within City limits or become a resident no later than sixty (60) days following the completion of their probationary period.
